COLOMBIA REPRESENTED IN A.R.T. TAIWAN 2015

The Colombian Artist, Cesar Ovidio Alvarez Rendon was invited by "International Artist Grand Prize Competition" (IAGPC) one of the Asia’s top art contests, seeking artworks worldwide to be displayed on "ART (Art Revolution Taipei.)
"Last November of 2014, I received a message from the Project Coordinator of ART (Art Revolution Taipei ) where she expressed admiration for my work "Passion and Color" and she invited me to take part in the international exhibition she represents. I submitted the application in December; I sent two pictures of two very representative paintings and last February 2 I received notification that I was selected with one of them ".
An estimated of 4033 pieces were received for "International Artist Grand Prize Competition ( IAGPC ) but only 74 artists and 90 pieces were selected. Among 74 artists, there has 16 artists who have two entries selected. Within these finalists, the work "Silletera" by Cesar Alvarez Ovidio Rendón.
"I am very proud and pleased to have been selected because I have the opportunity to represent various flags. My work is participating from North America , where I live, but first of all I'm representing Colombia, Antioquia, Rionegro and I will represent my family and friends and I will do the best I can to put up the colors of my country".
"The Art work "Silletera" is an allegory to the Flower Fair in Medellin and represents the Paisa Culture, and Art Revolution Taipei is a great platform to show a bit of our country and our people"... and this is the paint that Cesar Ovidio Alvarez R. will be participating with in ART in Taiwan , from May 8 to 11, 2015 .
